For Investors & Capital Providers

Deal flow that has already been done properly.

We do not forward decks. Companies reach investors only after assessment, financial reconstruction where required, readiness scoring against thirteen categories, and an investment committee decision with a written record.

    Where we deploy

Catalytic capital into essential-sector SMEs across Kenya and East Africa — businesses that already trade, already employ, and are held back by structure rather than demand. Our work is stewardship-first: we fix the operating and reporting foundation before capital moves, which is what makes the risk legible to an institutional allocator.

    • Essential-sector SMEs with existing revenue and verifiable operations
    • Kenya and East Africa, with founders we can support in person
    • Capital paired with delivery: readiness, governance and reporting, not cheque-only participation
    • Co-investment alongside DFIs, family offices, corporates and impact funds

    What you receive

    • An assessment pack

Narrative synthesis, readiness scores and the evidence behind them.

    • A governed decision trail

Committee submission, votes and any conditions attached to the approval.

    • A permissioned data room

Documents shared deliberately, with access logged on both sides.

    • An engagement channel

Direct, recorded communication with the company and its Six Degrees team.

    How an opportunity reaches you

    Step 1

    Sourced and assessed

Every company enters through a structured assessment — financials reconstructed where needed, evidence collected, and a written narrative synthesis produced before anything reaches an investor.

    Step 2

    Readiness-scored

Companies are scored across thirteen readiness categories, from governance and finance to legal, ESG and intellectual property. Scores are evidence-backed, not self-reported.

    Step 3

    Committee-governed

Opportunities pass an investment committee with recorded submissions, votes, conditions and a full decision trail. Approvals are documented, not verbal.

    Step 4

    Data rooms on request

Diligence happens inside permissioned data rooms with logged document access, so both sides know exactly what was shared and when.
